Debra "Delynn" Whalin passed away October 29, 2006 at the age of 55. She was survived by three children, two girls Stacy and Dionne and one boy Brandon.She had three grandchildren; all boys and a new little boy that she won't meet on earth. Debra Delynn loved the Dallas Cowboys, cooking big dinners for everyone, fishing, camping, the dog breed, Boston Terrier, drinking coffee in the morning, doing crossword puzzles and collecting movies. She also loved music such as James Blunt, the Fray, the Beatles, Celion Dion, and Barbara Streisand.

Her favorite colors were Red and Black and her favorite flower was the bluebonnet. One of her favorite movies was Ice Castles.

The most beautiful qualities of my mother:

She loved to make people laugh and she knew how to laugh at herself. She had a great sense of humor and did not take life so seriously.
She NEVER mistreated animals and would always show respect and kindness to them.
She was incredibly strong. She was a survivor and could always bounce back from major life events.
If I really needed my mom to "kiss an owie" she was there.
She had a way of saying things sometimes that just helped you pull through life's hardships.

In last year of her life, she lovingly took care of her mother who was diagnosed with lung cancer. My mom showed great compassion, perseverance, complete loyalty and respect towards her mom. She became so selfless. She became different in my eyes and I found that I loved her more than I knew. My mother is missed by so many. We love you.
